The Devon G. Buffett Amphitheater is owned and operated by the Decatur Park District and was made possible by a generous donation from the Howard G. Buffett Foundation. The venue’s name is in honor of Howard G. Buffett’s wife, Devon, and is referred to as the Devon Lakeshore Amphitheater. The venue sits along the shore of Lake Decatur as part of Lakeshore Landing nestled inside the Historic Nelson Park. With a capacity of nearly 4,000, the venue offers views of the lake from nearly every seat or viewing area. The Devon offers a wide range of entertainment including music of many genres, comedians, big bands, movie nights, family themed entertainment and more.

The purchase of tickets online can occur at any time through the Devon’s ticket provider—EventBrite. EventBrite accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover cards for online payment. Tickets can also be purchased at the Decatur Park District offices at 620 E. Riverside Drive (Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m) or over the phone by calling (217) 422-5911. The Devon Lakeshore Amphitheater box office opens at 4 p.m. on show dates and is conveniently located near the main entrance. The box office phone number is (217) 619-8088.
